Limiter

Adaptive Limiter

Apple

Adaptive Limiter is a dynamic processor designed to control perceived loudness by rounding and smoothing peaks in the signal, producing an effect similar to an analog amplifier being driven hard. It works by preventing the signal from exceeding a set ceiling level without introducing unwanted distortion and clipping, and is typically used on final mixes to achieve maximum loudness.
