Clavinet V is a meticulously modeled virtual instrument that faithfully reproduces the sound and behavior of the classic Hohner Clavinet D6 electric keyboard, renowned for its cutting, percussive attack and distinctive character across funk, rock, and soul recordings. Beyond authentic reproduction of the original hardware—including dual pickups, pickup selectors, and mute damping—Clavinet V adds an extensive array of stomp-box effects, a modeled tube amplifier with EQ and reverb, and eight physical modeling parameters for both subtle refinement and radical tonal transformation. Running as standalone or plugin (VST2, VST3, AU, AAX) with full MIDI learn and DAW automation support, it extends the original 60-note range to 88 keys and unlocks creative possibilities unimaginable during the instrument's manufacturing era.
