Quanta 2

Audio Damage

Quanta 2 is a granular synthesis plugin that presents a sophisticated grain engine in the form of a classic subtractive synth. It combines a granular oscillator with two virtual-analog oscillators, filters, and modulation sources to enable real-time manipulation of samples and synthesized sounds. With flexible envelope generators, low-frequency oscillators, and integrated effects, Quanta 2 transforms granular synthesis into a playable, expressive instrument.

Key Features

01Granular oscillator with grain rate (1-100 grains/sec), length (1ms-1sec), and 12 envelope shapes
02Pitch quantization to user-defined scales using 12-tone equal temperament, MTS-ESP, or TUN files
03Automatic root note detection and manual override for sample transposition
04Two virtual-analog oscillators with shape morphing, pulse-width modulation, and anti-aliasing
05Dual filters (4-pole and 2-pole) with 8 configurations: OFF, LOW PASS, BAND PASS, HIGH PASS, NOTCH, in series or parallel routing
06Four Flexible Envelope Generators with arbitrary breakpoints, looping modes (one-shot, forward, bidirectional), and time/amplitude scaling
07Two Flexible LFOs with morphable shapes (double sine, sine, triangle, square) and bipolar/unipolar output modes
08Sample & Hold modulator with selectable trigger sources and smoothing
09Four Macro knobs for manual, automatable modulation with MIDI CC mapping
10Built-in effects: delay, chorus, and reverb
11True stereo processing with stereo width control
1215-voice polyphony with unison mode
13MPE controller support
Formats
