Things to Try

  • 01Set the Compressor ratio to 20:1 and Knee to 0 dB to create a hard limiter
  • 02Use the Compressor's de-ess feature by toggling it on and setting the frequency to the midpoint where sibilant 'S' sounds are most pronounced (4–9 kHz range)
  • 03Drive the output Transformer hard to introduce nonlinearity and analog character to signals with heavy low-frequency content
  • 04Control-click and drag EQ graphical display dots (or use mouse wheel) to adjust Q settings for narrower or broader filter bandwidths
