Transient Shaper

spiff

Oeksound

spiff is an adaptive transient processor that cuts or boosts transients with frequency-specific control. It analyzes incoming signals and applies dynamic filtering to isolate and manipulate transient material without using crossovers, making it effective for removing clicks and artifacts or enhancing attack and definition across a wide range of sources.

Key Features

01Adaptive transient detection with sensitivity control
02Cut and boost modes for transient shaping
03Five parametric bands with high/low pass filters for frequency weighting
04Time-and-frequency-specific controls (sharpness, decay, decay lf/hf)
05Stereo processing with mid/side or left/right modes and stereo link control
06Delta monitoring to isolate processed signal
07Advanced options: oversampling, resolution, window modes (short/medium/long), and linear/minimum phase processing
