How to permanently delete your Plugin Library account and all associated data.

We're sorry to see you go. This guide explains how to permanently delete your account and what happens to your data.

This action is permanent

Account deletion cannot be undone. Once deleted, your plugin library, notes, tags, sessions, and all other data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Before You Delete

Before deleting your account, consider:

  • Exporting your data - Download your plugin library so you have a copy. See Exporting Your Data.
  • Canceling vs. deleting - If you just want to stop paying, you can cancel your subscription instead. Your data will be preserved on the free tier.
  • Taking a break - Your account will remain active indefinitely on the free tier. You don't need to delete to stop using the service.

Consider exporting first

We strongly recommend exporting your data before deletion. This gives you a backup of your plugin organization work in case you change your mind later.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

  • Your user profile and account information
  • Your plugin library and all user-plugin associations
  • Personal notes added to any plugins
  • Custom tags you've created
  • All sessions and session data
  • AI assistant conversation history
  • Any stored preferences and settings

What is NOT deleted:

  • Central plugin database - The shared plugin information (names, vendors, descriptions) is part of our central database and is not user-specific
  • Anonymized usage analytics - Aggregated, non-identifying analytics data may be retained for service improvement

How to Delete Your Account

Go to Account Settings

Click your profile icon in the top-right corner and select Settings.

Open the Data tab

In the settings sidebar, click Data.

Click Delete Account

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the Delete Account button in the danger zone.

Confirm deletion

You'll be asked to confirm by typing your email address. This ensures you understand the action is permanent.

If you have an active Pro subscription, it will be automatically canceled with no further charges.

Account deleted

Once confirmed, your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted. You'll be signed out and redirected to the homepage.

After Deletion

Can I recover my account?

No. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed. We do not retain backups of deleted user data.

Can I sign up again?

Yes. You can create a new account using the same email address at any time. However, you'll be starting fresh with no previous data.

What about my subscription payment?

If you delete your account mid-billing cycle, no refund is issued for the remaining time. We recommend canceling your subscription first and deleting at the end of your billing period.

Data Deletion Timeline

When you delete your account, the process happens as follows:

  • Immediate - Your account is deactivated and you're signed out
  • Within 24 hours - All user data is deleted from our primary databases
  • Within 30 days - Data is purged from all backups and disaster recovery systems
