There are three ways to add plugins to your Plugin Library: searching the database, manual entry, and screenshot import. Each method has its advantages depending on your situation.

Method 1: Search and Add

The fastest way to add plugins you know by name. Our database includes thousands of plugins from major vendors, with descriptions, categories, and sonic characteristics already filled in.

1

Open the Add Plugin dialog

Click the + Add Plugin button in your library header, or use the keyboard shortcut Cmd/Ctrl + K.
2

Search for your plugin

Start typing the plugin name or vendor. Results will appear as you type. You can search for things like "Pro-Q 3", "FabFilter", or even "parametric EQ".
3

Select and confirm

Click on the plugin you want to add. Review the details (vendor, category, description) and click Add to Library.

Pro tip

You can add multiple plugins at once by holding Shift while clicking each plugin, then clicking "Add Selected".

Method 2: Screenshot Import

Have a lot of plugins to add? Take a screenshot of your DAW's plugin menu or your license manager (Native Access, iLok, etc.) and let our AI extract the plugins automatically.

1

Take a screenshot

Capture your plugin list from your DAW or license manager. Make sure the plugin names are clearly visible.
2

Upload to Plugin Library

Click Import Screenshot and select or drag your image.
3

Review extracted plugins

Our vision AI will analyze the image and show you a list of detected plugins. Review the list, deselect any false positives, and click Import Selected.

Screenshot tips

For best results, make sure text is sharp and not cut off. Avoid low-resolution screenshots or images with heavy compression artifacts.

Method 3: Manual Entry

For plugins not in our database (rare or very new releases), you can add them manually with custom details.

1

Open manual entry

From the Add Plugin dialog, click Can't find it? Add manually at the bottom.
2

Fill in the details

Enter the plugin name, vendor, and category. You can also add a description and tags if you want.
3

Save

Click Add Plugin. The plugin will appear in your library with a "custom" badge.
When you add a plugin manually, we'll try to find it in our background database and enrich your entry with official information if we find a match.
